I'm your host, Tara Preston, and today's podcast is all around self-abandonment. This is such a core and deep piece on how I support women who are deepening their capacity for more nourishment, for more vitality, for more radiance and power as they step into more of their sovereignty, more of their evolution, and more of their leadership. So whether you're in midlife, you're a mother, whether you're holding a corporate leadership position, this is gonna be for you. Because as women, we have really been conditioned from a very young age to abandon ourselves, particularly if you had a um a rocky relationship with your mother. This might even be a deeper peace for you. So if you are really tired of working out of exhaustion and burnout, depletion, and just really losing the center of your power and that connection to self, this is gonna be for you. So I want you to just notice where your triggers are. For example, when you do move through different situations that ask more of you than you're able to give, what is your actual response? Are you able to tap in to tune into your body and to know where the edge of your boundaries are? Right? When we start to overextend past the available energetic reserves that we have, we're headed into depletion. And a big part of why that happens is because we're disconnected and we're depleted in the first place. So we have to start to develop the tool, we have to sorry, we have to start to develop the skill of listening, of being able to listen to our emotions, which is very often connected to where our inner child wasn't listened to as a little girl, right? And so we stop listening to our own inner needs, right? The inner child is the purest expression of who we are, and often as children, that got overrode. It wasn't listened to, it wasn't honored, we weren't given space to unpack that. And so, as adults, oftentimes when we're feeling emotionally burdened or heavy, we don't actually take the time to unpack that because we're so used to overriding it, to um to undervaluing it. So the invitation is to stop and to actually listen to how you're feeling, right? One of my favorite ways to do that is in my morning practice. I call it the Radiant Morning Power Hour Practice, which, if you'd like to come and jump in and join us, I'm doing a five-day radiance hour challenge with daily Akashic channel transmissions in Telegram. So I'll make sure and leave the link here for you to come and join the private group. And um, maybe this is something that you want to deepen into. I've got a practice that I have given to hundreds, literally thousands of women. It was a free gift on my website for years. I created it 10 years ago. It's a gorgeous PDF, and I've just kept evolving it. It walks you through a morning practice that supports you in claiming space, coming home to yourself to really connect into self for that beautiful alignment to your divinity, to God, and to really start to stabilize your energy and move from a place of alignment and flow first thing in the morning. It's so beautiful. So when you hop over to the telegram chat, you can access that PDF as well. All right, so back to what I was saying about self-abandonment, and this happens a lot. And I find too, when we're talking about triggers, you might even have a you might even have a foundation in your life for how you have been able to cultivate listening, how you've been able to cultivate a capacity for holding your own energy, right? And then all of a sudden something comes up that demands more of our energetic reserve, and then we tend to we tend to fall back into an old pattern, right? We tend to fall back into an old pattern of depletion, or maybe it's um maybe it's depletion, or maybe it is just a lack of self-connection, right? Maybe it's just a lack of overriding our systems in a way that we thought we were finally stabilizing. So really important pieces to look at. And oftentimes I find that the inner child is a core piece first and foremost of where we tend to abandon ourselves emotionally. So you want to be able to start to create pauses or a sacred space or sacred spaces in your life to actually be able to hear and feel how you're feeling. This is a really important piece, right? Because the more that we're able to feel and honor, the more we're able to come home to ourselves, the more we stop abandoning. And when we stop abandoning, we are at what we're actually doing is we're looking at how to mother ourselves, right? All the places that we didn't necessarily receive the love of the mother as children or as young girls, right? That often shows up in our relationship to ourself, to our leadership, and how we actually um and how we actually mother ourselves to hold our capacity and our foundation for vitality, radiance, and power in a whole different way. In a whole different way. Actually, today I did a cashic channel transmission in Telegram, and it was really all about taking the women to a time when they were young where maybe they had a hard day as a child, maybe they just needed some love and some nurturing as a little girl, right? Maybe they came home from school one day and they had a hard day, something happened. And the presence of the mother in the home, maybe she was emotionally absent, maybe she was physically absent, but it wasn't there. And so instead of being shown how to access our own emotions, how to soothe, how to self-soothe, right, through the love and the presence of the mother, what often happens is that a woman or a child will end up self-abandoning. She starts to disconnect, she starts to numb out. And so I was giving the example of what I was seeing was a young girl who came home, and instead of having that her state of being met in a state of loving presence from the mother, what she would do is grab a bag of chips or cookies or whatever and go sit in front of the TV. And I know that so many women can relate to this. That sense of numbing out, that sense of disconnect, right? Sometimes we're just so oblivious to it, we don't actually even know how to listen to ourselves or where to go to listen to ourselves. And so we need to start to develop nurturing practices, nurturing, self-nurturing practices that honor where we're at, how we're feeling, and what and what we need. So this is a deeper piece in um the self- self-abandonment that I often see with women as they step into this new place of leadership. And I should mention that every time as well, we're kind of called into a new version of ourselves. You know, there's there's that place of like, you know, growth or expansion. It triggers a feeling of being unsafe in the body, unsafe in our experience because it's a growth edge, because the mind is so built to keep us safe, that that can also really push up on the edges of self-abandonment, but it's also a growth edge. It's also where we need to look at why am I self-abandoning in this place of expansion? What needs tending to? How do I need to listen to myself? How do I need to honor myself? And what do I actually need right now? When we actually take the time to come home to ourselves in this deeper, more truthful place, we start to rewire our relationship with ourselves, with our vitality, with our body. We start to create a deeper sense of safety. So it's not so always so much about nervous system regulation. You can find a ton of tools uh all over the internet now. It is also about how we're actually rewiring our nervous system by establishing new practices of nurturing, like actual new ways of being, where we're tending to ourselves, where we're mothering ourselves, right? So that we're bringing a sense of safety, we're bringing a sense of, we're bringing a sense of presence, we're bringing a sense of love and nurturance to ourself, right? We're taking time to listen and to return home. And it's through that shift that we start to stabilize our energetic being and body in a whole new way. Which is why I love I love clearing work and I love ceremonies and I love, you know, all of these uh transmissions and activations and all of those things. But if we want embodied, integrated transformation that really supports a new evolution of our leadership as women, then we have to be able to develop the new nurturing practices, the actual ways of being that stabilize our systems in new ways. And it's through that process that we vibrationally start to shift. We vibrationally start to shift and we come into a new embodied version of ourself, one that honors ourself more deeply. And we really can't have authentic, embodied feminine leadership without honoring ourselves. And I find that this is often, often an edge that gets overlooked or overrun by women who have even done a lot of work on themselves, like a lot of work on themselves. Because it's not always so much about the clearing work, the ceremonies, the activations, the transmissions. It's actually about developing the new relationship with ourselves that begins to shift and recalibrate our whole energetic system into a new way of being. All right. So we're just let me give me a moment here. I just want to regroup. So starting to tune in, you know, into your own body, right? Into your heart, into your womb. Maybe you want to place your hand, a hand over your heart, a hand over your womb. Just taking a breath in, letting your body soften. Right? Hand over heart, hand over womb, taking a breath of love into the womb space. Maybe you want to weave in some gentle rocking, or you just want to let your body sway a little bit. Start to cultivate some rhythm. Taking a few more breaths. Beautiful. And from here, just going ahead and spreading your feet and uh hip width apart, and you're gonna bend your knees slightly, and then you're gonna fold over at the hips, and you're just gonna let your arms dangle, and you can kind of sway and dangle, letting your hair just fall, just releasing and shaking out, letting the body soften. Just letting the body soften. Beautiful. And when you feel done with that, you can go ahead and you're just gonna um you're gonna stand up, hand over heart, hand over womb. Beautiful. And just start asking, you know, how am I feeling right now? You might want to grab your journal. How are you feeling right now? What feels really present for you? How can you create sacred space, right? And that's the beauty of sacred space, is it acts like a masculine container that can hold us so that we can drop into more of our femininity and mother ourselves, listen to ourselves, hear ourselves, honor ourselves. How are you feeling? Right? What's bothering you right now? Are you upset about something? Are you sad? What feels challenging?

SPEAKER_00:What feels just really hard? Those are all valid emotions to have. They're all valid, and we need to honor them and make them valid. Right? And then if we don't, we go against ourselves. Right? We self-abandon. We stop listening and we start numbing. So this becomes an important piece. All right, and at the same time, it's like, what do you need? What do you need right now? Like, what do you need? How are you feeling? What do you need? What needs to be tended to? What will make you feel better? What will make you feel nurtured and held in this place? Like coming home to yourself, really listening to what it is that you need. You know, there's deeper layers that we go with this work in terms of deepening into your truth, your sovereignty, how you really get to hold your power as a woman rising in her embodied feminine leadership. Taking a breath in through the nose, down into the energetic womb space. Beautiful. Beautiful. Up and out into the womb space, through the nose, down into the womb space, up and out through the mouth. And you may want to again just spread your feet hip width apart, bend your knees, start to sway, bring in some hip circles. We're just gonna we're just gonna release and clear anything that's being held in the womb space, taking some breaths in, and then starting to bring that flow, starting to bring the Shakti. You can take a breath in through Yoni, bringing it into the pelvic bowl, or just allowing all of the beauty of life to really enter in, to circulate through the womb space. Just cultivating that warmth, that radiance, that shakti, that flow. Letting the body start to soften. Beautiful. And I want to leave you with that piece of what do you need? I want you to take a moment and look at what do you need so that you can actually take this step and integrate it today. And what it can often look like is you just need to spend more time and your inner child will be a source of this, but your essence will speak to, your body will speak to. How do you need to be mother today? Right? Do you need to be wrapped in a blanket with a warm tea to just like gift yourself that presence? Do you need to be outside in nature? Right? Do you need to just have your feet on the ground and just slow and steady just be present outside today? Do you need to actually nourish yourself? Hydration is a huge piece that women often overlook, right? Because they're not even listening to the cues of their body, that they're actually just like thirsty. Right? So how do you need to be tended to? How can you nourish yourself? And that's a it's a slow paradigm shift. We're moving from depletion, disconnect, um, burnout, right? Into this embodied paradigm where we get to operate and lead from a place of overflow and a place of nourishment. From a place of so we're our body's actually learning how to hold a new level of nourishment and vitality. This isn't this is, you know, and for me, I've worked with women over the last 14 years so many different ways and places. And I've tried to niche here a little bit the last year. Um, and I'm having trouble because I work with so many different women, but the key piece is evolutionary leadership. It's it's really anchoring into your leadership, whether you're a mother, you know, whether you're again a midlife woman being called to the edge of your evolution, whether you're holding a more corporate position of leadership, right? It's this these this feminine leadership for these changing times. We're allowed to shift and change and adapt, right? We don't need to operate from burnout and disconnect any anymore or depletion, but our bodies, our nervous systems need to be uh recalibrated to this new level of vitality and nourishment. This is a big part of the work that I do with clients as I guide and space hold them through the next evolution of their soulful expansion. And it impacts all areas of life because it's a vibrational recalibration that is so potent. So, what does it mean and what does it look like to hold a new level of integrated vitality and nourishment? And we are essentially becoming the version of ourselves that will hold the next evolution of our soul's calling, right? Whatever that looks like for you. Our soul growth is meant to grow us, to expand us, to shift us, to evolve us. But we have to get our bodies and our nervous systems on board. And this is a big part of it. We often, in terms of depletion, you know, we pick up a lot of that original template from our relationship to our mother. So a lot of the depletion, disconnect, um burnout patterns that we often find ourselves looping through when we're triggered or on the edge of expansion. We're often looking at, you know, what was our nervous system adapting to or recalibrating to as children? And so, especially with my work, with the Akashic with a flower of life Akashic method, it's a lot of untangling, right? Untangling that so that you can harmonize to your own templates, so that you can harmonize to your own vibration of prosperity and sustainability. If you're loving what you're hearing, right now I have, and if you'd like to go deeper, and if you're being called to maybe having space held, and that's you know, a really important part of the transformational path, if you're being called to the edge of your evolution, is having space held. So a lot of the archetypal energy that I do bring forward is that mother energy. My containers often feel like wombs that really hold a woman through these scary edges of expansion. And at the same time, we're going in and we're recalibrating and rewiring the nervous system in the most beautiful ways, starting to integrate new levels of nourishment, play, pleasure, right? Creativity, flow, power. We're harmonizing it to the new masculine templates so that you can start to structure your life in a way that actually honors your deeper desire for this new paradigm of feminine prosperity and power, right? Where we get to hold our energy differently.
