Good morning and welcome to Lead Like a Mother. This is episode three. We are still working on our introduction, so bear with me. There's a lot evolving right now in the scope of my work and I'm somebody who is kind of movement over perfection. I'm okay to let things evolve, even when they're not perfect, if I feel guided to take the step. I'm going to take the step and I'm going to trust that it's all going to unfold and just be with the creative process, and that's just served me really well. I'm thinking even of the Facebook group right now. That's got a rebrand called Wealthy Womb for conscious mothers and leaders, and I haven't updated the banner on the page, but I was hit with the inspiration to rebrand it, so you can now find the new Facebook group facebookcom slash groups slash wealthy womb. If you'd like to join us for weekly conversations, I really want to spend more time in there. I'm gearing up for that.
Speaker 1:This year is proving to be a year of restructuring to make space for a whole new energy, and I'm thinking of, you know, the Chinese year of the snake, and it feels very much. I can feel that snake energy coming through is a lot of shedding away and there's a whole new energy emerging, you know, which invites me to ask you the question where, in your experience, we're also heading into the spring equinox which, granted, we still have a good 30 days but when the wheel of the year begins to shift, there is like a natural instinct to want to purge, to want to cleanse, to want to clear and to release, to let go, to kind of tune up our energy. And that's the gift of each and every seasonal change. Right, when we work with Mother Earth and her natural rhythms and her natural cycles. It's the gift of working with our own intrinsic cycle that's built into us so beautifully through our monthly bleed and I know that sometimes for women it's not always regular, right, we can slowly and gradually start to listen and deepen into and heal those layers and start to come into a new space of trust with our own rhythm and with our own naturalness. And that's, you know, that's a big part of the work that I do with women in the world. And one thing that I'm coming out with very soon is the divine floral rituals, yonibal Steam, you know, herbal yoni steaming has been such a powerful tool for clients but also in my own journey. It was about six, seven months ago, maybe even eight months ago now. Yoni steaming is something that I've enjoyed for many years, especially when I started to really deepen into womb work on my path and I was doing it more so to clear stagnation from the womb space.
Speaker 1:And where's today's podcast going? Today's podcast, we're going to be talking about renewal, how to trust the seasons and cycles of your life, how to harness that power, how to set the stage for change that actually supports your soulful, feminine evolution. One thing, though, that has also been on my heart. Before I get into that and you'll notice, I love to really speak in circles. Feminine wisdom travels more of a circular path, and, for the most part, 99% of the time, I will always circle back and hit on anything that I've started to talk about. So join me for today's intuitive conversation, which is really what this is.
Speaker 1:But one thing that I wanted to touch into, one thing that I wanted to tap into, is authentic success. I was sharing with a friend today my gratitude, and not from a place of doing a gratitude practice, you know where, and I've certainly appreciated gratitude practice. It's something that has helped me during challenging times in my life and my business when things weren't growing and flowing the way that I desired them to. It was a very, very helpful practice and I still do it. But gratitude, the gratitude, the heart, full gratitude of looking around at my life and feeling almost in awe of what I've created.
Speaker 1:And now I'm not a seven-figure business owner. I feel I do very well for myself in my own right. I feel I have a very prosperous life in a very holistic way. My husband and I have been together for 27 years. We're still very much, much in love and we own this beautiful 14 acres of land where I garden, where we have meandering paths and there's so much spaciousness and freedom and herbs, wild herbs that grow, plants that grow everywhere in the summer, and it's very peaceful and I'd say joyful life. It's very peaceful and I'd say joyful life. You know, we have our daughter, who's healthy, and we found a beautiful balance with a, with a kind of a country school and and just having her in a school environment, but in a way that works for us.
Speaker 1:And I want to speak on authentic success because today I was really thinking about who I was 15 years ago, which is really where my journey started, when I was living in the city and I was just 30. So, gosh, I mean, maybe it's even longer now. I always revert back to I've been doing this for 14 years, but my daughter's 15. Yeah, I guess I get into 15, 16 years living in the city and just not happy. I'd been there for 13 years. I had been a professional makeup artist for like 13 years there and city life was really wearing on me and I was starting to dabble in the healing arts. I was always very naturally minded right, always looking for natural healing solutions. Always, even as a makeup artist, believe it or not, it was always about natural products and natural looking makeup and pulling out a woman's natural essence. And so I had this call right.
Speaker 1:And we knew that back home there was mentions of an acreage that was sitting empty, and so when my daughter was born, I felt this pull to reinvent my life and to really become an embodied version of the woman who felt deeply nourished and alive and free in her purpose. And don't get me wrong, there are times in the evolution of the coaching industry where it really became about money, about the $200,000 a year. I mean I have a very healthy six-figure plus business. Sometimes it's much more than that and sometimes it's a little less, depending on the year, but it's healthy and it feels good and spacious and it flows. I'm in a place now where I'm going to take on another income stream and I can do that and it feels good and that is definitely another thing I was feeling really grateful for.
Speaker 1:But this idea of authentic success I was really dropping into today, because it's easy to get caught up in all of the things that we should be doing or who we should be in order to have success. But authentic success is a deeper level of nourishment and it's really about creating a life that's in alignment with our values, our deeper desires as women, our deeper needs as women. Right, can you live from a deeply embodied, present and nourished place? Right, are you living from a place where you feel fulfilled, full from the inside? Right, for most women, they crave spaciousness. That is something that I have cultivated in my life to a T. Right, and I'm still able to serve and experience prosperity. That rhymed, and I want this for every woman because I think that that's our birthright. That's how we're designed to create and to lead and to flow and to flourish. It's really built into us.
Speaker 1:We need to be able to peel back the layers of the illusion of the matrix of society, of a more hyper-masculinized way of doing things that has led to a disconnect from our bodies, from our natural way of being right, and so we need to come into spaces of presence and connection and honor in order to reclaim that. In order to reclaim that and the womb is a very intrinsic part of that reclamation it's a deeper part. It's a part that when we start to sink into the womb, we're coming home to more of our feminine embodiment. A lot of people talk about embodiment now, which really is the bridging of our divinity with our humanity. When our divinity actually permeates us at a cellular level, when we're moving past and untangling layers of trauma in the tissues and in the cells, right we inhabit more of our divinity. We inhabit more love, more flow. Right, that sparkle, that energy, that vitality returns, and we come from a history of trauma on the planet.
Speaker 1:A lot of us have generational trauma where we disconnect, we numb out, there's no flow, our divinity can't occupy our bodies, we're not embodied, and so I know a lot of people have a lot of different ideas about that, and this is work I've done for the last 14 years is helping women move through life transformation in order to become more fully embodied in the truth of who they are and who they're being called to be. They inhabit their bodies from a place of purpose, fulfillment, grace, ease. So I want to think about both. I want to think about your desires for authentic success and bringing that back to this gratitude that I had this morning. I was really taken by it because I'm also. One of my passions is nature and coming into that beautiful relationship with Mother Earth, right With us, walking our sacred path and having Mother Earth as an ally and absolutely partnering with the divine. But the mother, the way she holds us, the way she holds us.
Speaker 1:And I was looking around and I was looking at my yoni steams that are all packaged up and all the herbs in there and all my like bags of herbs sitting all over the floor and my tinctures and my Egyptian anointing oils, my flower essences, my gem essences, and I was just like, and then, as I sat here, it's very cold. Here in Northern Canada it's minus 32, feels like minus 40 this morning it's very cold, like the buses are canceled. I can't put my dogs outside for more than probably four minutes before they're at risk of frostbite on their little paws. It's cold, and I was sitting here and I was listening to a bird chirp. I'm not exactly sure which bird it is. We do have a few birds that are built for this climate. It's usually, I would guess it's probably a sparrow. We definitely have the ravens right, and the magpies they stick around at winter still is amazing and chickadees. That wasn't a chickadee, though, but I just sat there in awe of the miracle of it all, of our ability to dream, to create, to have a desire right, and how often, if we're not paying attention, we miss the beauty of what we've created. And also, in that moment I thought back. I'm like that was all I wanted. I really wanted that peace.
Speaker 1:You know, I also come from a childhood that was full of trauma, full of trauma, full of trauma, and so being able to find this level of peace in my life is truly a gift. You know, I come from a place where I had and bless his heart my father has done a lot of work. He's 22, 25 years, sober now, but as a young man he was terribly not well, unwell and suffered from mental illness, and he drank a lot and he was an abusive alcoholic. So I watched a lot of abuse in my home with my mom and I watched my mom move around a lot. We left home when I was five and she moved around a lot. I think we moved eight times by the time I was in grade nine. You know just different relationships and I'd move here and there and and she did end up remarrying. And then um, and then that uh man there, um, there was. You know I had some sexual trauma from him being in the home that I had to repair from and it was a lot, there's a lot.
Speaker 1:By the time I left home I was very numb, very disconnected, very, um, very traumatized really by all of it and the survival mechanisms that I had to use to really pull myself through that. Right around the time that I was leaving home my mom was also diagnosed with schizophrenia. She was suicidal. So doing that journey with her at a very, very young age, after, you know, a lot, a lot of upheaval and I'm only sharing this because of what is possible, you know and I know that for me at around the age of 21, 22, I was so determined I'm like I can heal myself. I knew that I was a fraction of the person that I was meant to be.
Speaker 1:At that time I was very hurt and had a lot to process and move through from my experience of childhood, as do many women, as do many people, and we can we can heal through it. And I just remember being 21 and knowing that I was going to do the journey where I would heal myself, that I would find my purpose, that I would experience health and wholeness and happiness, and I mean that was a dream at that point, right, and so it was. Like you know, I mean even if I think of that, that was a dream at that point always to to live my purpose there. I knew there was something greater. I wanted to give and be and do, but more than anything I wanted just to feel healthy and happy and whole, and I know that that's a dream for a lot of women, and I think that we need to pay more attention to the authentic dreams, the dreams for nourishment, right, the dreams for wholeness, for happiness, for embodiment.
Speaker 1:There's so much that comes from that place when we can actually integrate and hold that really, truly, and I have learned that you don't really want success if it's not from that place anyways. So being able to come from this place, it is the foundation that all of life can flourish from. It's really where we start to open up to our success, we start to open up to greater leadership, to greater opportunities, we start to want to hold and call in more money for ourselves. And it comes from a much deeper, integrated place of wholeness, which I believe is it's holistic, feminine prosperity. And so a part of holistic feminine prosperity is, you know, always going deeper with the evolution of our purpose, always going deeper with the level of integrated nourishment that we're able to hold in our systems.
Speaker 1:And that's where, you know, clearing out the trauma becomes an important part. That's an important part of the work that I do. I work specifically with my own method, the Flower of Life Akashic Healing Method, and it's much different than being an Akashic record reader. It's a much more of a deep kind of shamanic, guided way of helping women tap into their power, while releasing trauma patterns and then looking at how to integrate and hold deeper levels of nourishment. You know, a lot of that is very much connected to the mother wound, to the womb space. So here's my invitation as we journey into the spring solstice, as we attune to the rhythms of the mother for our own evolution and our own healing.
Speaker 1:And I want to say that way back when, when I had a lot of trauma, I remember finding Christian Northrup's book Women's Bodies, women's Wisdom. That was rare back then, like, keep in mind, this is 28 years ago. Rare back then, like, keep in mind, this is 28 years ago, maybe 29 years ago. And I found that book and in that book was working with the moon cycles and our bleed and there was just something in there for me. I just there was something in there for me. I just knew that if I could attune to my own seasons and cycles, I could find my way back home to me. And I remember it was a feeling and I just knew it. And that's what I did. And I started attuning to my cycles and every time, the week before my period I would have PMS, there'd be a layer that would bubble up of pain, of hurt, of anger, of anger, frustration, of sadness, and I would be with it. I would dance it out, I would journal it out, I would draw it out, I would be with it and then I would take the new moon and I would start to go deeper in connection and listening and really understanding who I was being called to be there.
Speaker 1:There's so much wisdom in the rhythms, like there's so much deep wisdom in the rhythms, right, and as women we need to be able to come to those rhythms, to the mother, and to tune to it and to trust it and to allow it to guide us into more of our healing, our wholeness and our evolution. So as we approach spring, equinox, we're going to feel the wheel of the year turn, and you do, and oftentimes we feel a little heavy, a little dense, because we've done a season. Now We've done a season and we've accumulated energetic density in our field because of the experiences that we've had. So the seasonal wheel of the year becomes a portal that allows us to process and release, digest and to let go of, kind of, just like the premenstrual period right, what's coming up? What's ready to be released? Right, what were the lessons from the last cycle? How can I cleanse and clear my system? How can I prepare for where the evolution is?
Speaker 1:Right and that's the gift of the changing seasons, especially right at that portal, is that we can open up and become ready for clarity. Right, we can open up and become ready for clarity, and there is medicine in that place. Who are we being called to be truly, deeply, beyond the, I want to say, beyond the razzmatazz of all the noise that's out there, our deeper truth, our deeper clarity, and so one, clearing out the energetic debris right, clearing out the energetic debris, letting go of the layers that don't serve us, untangling some layers of deeper trauma so that deeper healing can start to integrate, so that we can start to make space for deeper levels of nourishment for who we're being called to be right For our holistic health, for our holistic happiness, our prosperity, our embodiment. Right. It's the invitation into more of what you deeply want, more of what you deeply want, want more of what you deeply want, more of what you deeply need.
Speaker 1:The need speaks so specifically to nourishment. How do you want to receive life? How do you want to feed yourself? Where's your capacity for joy? Like how good can you let life be for joy? Like, how good can you let life be? Like that's an edge and that there's an edge of? There's an edge of trauma right in that place? How good can you let life be Right?
Speaker 1:We are constantly, when we heal the mother wound, healing the edges of how deeply we allow ourselves to be nourished by life. Right when we think about our mothers, when we think about untangling ourselves from the hyper-masculinized society of push, go, do hustle. It just creates disconnect, it creates malnourishment. It creates malnourishment. But look at the mother when she's healthy. Look at nature she's full, she's alive, she's vibrant. Nature she's full, she's alive, she's vibrant, she's in tune with her cycles. There's a trust, right Like I look at my apple blossom tree, my apple, my crab apple tree, I love that tree, to me she's the mother presence in my yard. I make flower essences with her. Every year, when I'm done my yoni herbal steam, I go and I pour it out at her base and I thank her and I get back to her and I feed her. But I watch her and the reason I'm so grateful for her is because she represents so many stages of life and fruition and I can trust that. We can trust that when we're nourished, when we're in the flow, when we understand how to operate from that place and maintain and hold boundaries in that place, we can trust ourselves. We can trust ourselves to ebb and flow. We can trust in the reciprocity of prosperity of life. We can grow, we can flourish, we can evolve and it's all there for us, right when we trust ourselves, when we trust the mother to lead.
Speaker 1:I'm going to leave it at this. I really hope you've enjoyed this channel transmission. I'm going to make an invitation I right now, this month well, I have three spots left, I think, and I'll see. Maybe I can open more. I'm rebranding some parts of my work. I'm actually closing the Akashic Women's School, which I've had for the last four or five years, and I'm kind of simply rebranding now under my name, under my brand, and I'm reworking my Feminine Prosperity, akashic Activation and Clearing Sessions and I am including some goodies now and also so these spots are 50% off. If you're in Canada, you can pay Canadian prices. If you're in the US, you can pay US prices 50% off. So they're regular 555 USD, but I'm switching up some of my pricing. Right now you can get it 50% off 275.
Speaker 1:You can come in and work with me. We can go deep into this recalibration, untangling these layers of trauma still sitting in the body, in the womb, at the cellular level, at the subconscious level. Clear and untangle it, move it all out, start to feel into who you're being called to be and start to look at how to integrate deeper levels of nourishment to build your vibrational capacity for prosperity. All right, so if that speaks to you, email me Tara at TaraPrestoncom. Reach out to me on Facebook. Oh, the goodies. And so here's how I'm rebranding it. I actually haven't offered these sessions for quite a while for years actually but I'm excited to bring them back and so the goodies that you get. So there's this opportunity to really journey with this work and work with me for 21 days within the scope of this package.
Speaker 1:We do the first hour to kick it all off. Then I send you yoni herbal steams to set up your yoni herbal steaming practice, because we want to clear and heal the womb and begin to drop you into a deeper level of embodiment and nourishment. It was key to the womb. You get a 21-day Akashic Womb Awakening Journal. You get my Flow Flower Essence it's actually a gem and flower essence.
Speaker 1:Vibrational medicine to gently clear and untangle and clear and untangle, but it actually vibrationally kind of releases very gently trauma from different areas of the body, but a lot from the womb space, so that energy can start to open up and move and flow, which is Shakti, which is creative life force, energy, which is the source and substance of prosperity. We get that moving and flowing so that you can do less and start to create from that place and receive more with more ease. What else do you get? You get a Yoni herbal steaming PDF. And so these are the pieces, the physical pieces, that I send you so that you can, for 21 days, just rest into this container of deep healing and recalibration. And I'm just playing around with this, looking at how I want to structure it and I'm looking for testimonials after this.
Speaker 1:21 days, maybe 21 days, 30 days kind of container, and right now you can get that for $2.75. $2.75. So I think the next few spots I'm going to keep it at 275. And I'm actually feeling like I might raise it to 350 after those spots are gone. If that speaks to you, email me. I also have the opportunity to work with me for three month intervals now through my Nourished Mama three month program. You can ask me about that. I'm opening up spots officially for that. And join me in the new Facebook group. Come and share your nuggets, your insights. I would love to hear how this touched you, sending you so much love. I will talk to you all very soon. Bye for now.
